Saw these branches hanging over the stream, and thought it would look neat with a slow shutter speed. Unfortunately, my new gorillapod wasn't very helpful since the trees were coated in ice, and I couldn't attach it. So, this ended up being handheld, as I balanced on a hill in the snow. Thankfully, the friendly (yet large) pooch, who was out with another hiker, came up behind me in a pretty calm way and didn't knock me over into the water. Anyway, I'm still debating how much I like this shot. I think I like the idea of it more than the actual product.
