+ Comments (4) Total Lunar Eclipse - Mar. 4th 2007 - 07:05pm

Composite of two images taken a few minutes past the peak of the eclipse. The clouds weren't cooperating to get any good shots at first, but we finally saw the moon, then found an open field of dead sunflower stalks which we thought would make an interesting foreground. Cars were passing every once in a while, and they illuminated the stalks and that shot had the plane passing by. The second shot had a nicer sky and a much clearer moon... so I combined the two. I had to clone out all the duplicate stars (ugh) but I think it came out pretty well.
